Un viaje al interior del tablero Exclusive de Mephiso

Bueno, quizás algún coleccionista quiera acceder al interior de su tablero Exclusive de Mephisto parar realizar la reparación de un led o de un sensor. Aquí sólo mostramos la forma de realizar la primera fase del desmontaje del tablero.

1. Lo primero que haremos es poner una manta o una toalla sobre la mesa, con el fin de proteger la superficie del tablero. Colocaremos el tablero de manera que su parte inferior quede mirando hacia arriba.

2. Observamos que existen 4 tapones negros de goma, que hacen el trabajo de soporte o apoyo cuando lo ponemos apoyado en posición correcta para jugar con él. Los tapones están ocultando los cuatro tornillos que sujetan todo el bastidor inferior corredera (donde insertamos los módulos de juego). Para sacar estos tapones nos podemos ayudar de un destornillador pequeño y plano y con mucho cuidado, haciendo palanca, los podemos extraer pues están metido a presión en el hueco.

3. Ya hemos quitado los 4 tornillos ocultos en los 4 agujeros. Mucho cuidado ahora al separar las dos mitades, superior e inferior, que conforman nuestro tablero, puesto que están unidos por dos cables, el de la electricidad y un cable serie que comunica los sensores del tablero con los módulos insertados en la parte inferior corredera. Bastará con soltar el cable serie para abrir el tablero en sus dos mitades, en forma de libro. Para soltar el cable serie, en su conexión con la parte inferior corredera, dispone de dos piezas de cierre que se deben abrir, separándolas lateralmente, para liberar el conector. Después, tiraremos suavemente del conector cogiéndolo de la pieza negra de su cabeza, haciendo ligeros movimientos laterales.

4. Observamos que la placa de los sensores y leds se encuentra sujeta y aislada mediante una lámina de plástico duro que está grapado al bastidor. Tendrá que sacar con cuidado las grapas para acceder a la placa. Si lo que le falla es un led, antes de hacer todo esto pruebe con el siguiente consejo: mueva un poco desde el exterior el led, con un palillo, puesto que muchas veces con ese ligero movimiento soluciona un simple problema de contacto en la soldadura. Yo leí este consejo en un foro internacional y me sirvió para hacer funcionar un led que no me iba.

Perhaps, some collectors wants to accede to the interior of his board Mephisto Exclusive  to do the repair of a led or a sensor. Here, we show the way of the disassembling of the board.

1. First of all, we will have to do is to put a blanket or a towel on the table, with the purpose of protecting the surface of the chess board. We will place the board so that its inferior part is watching upwards.

2. We'll see that 4 black rubber corks which make the work of support. The corks are hiding the four screws that hold to all the inferior frame track (where we inserted the game modules). In order to remove these corks we can be helped of a small screwdriver and flat and by far care, doing handle, we can extract them quickly because they are placed with to pressure in the hole.

3. We have  cleared the 4 hidden screws in the 4 holes already. Now, be careful when you'll separate two halves, the superior part and inferior one because they are united by two cables, the one of the electricity and a cable series that communicates the sensors of the board with the modules inserted in the inferior part track. It will be enough with separate the cable series from the black switch, as we show in photos. In order to release the cable series, in its connection with the inferior part track, has two pieces of closing that you'll have to open, separating them laterally, to release the connector. Later, we will smoothly throw of the connector taking it of the black piece of its head, doing slight lateral motions.

4. We observed that the sensors and leds board is hold and isolated by a plastic piece it last. It will have to remove with well-taken care of the staples to accede to the plate. If you have a led problem, before doing all this it, you must prove with the following advice: the led will be moved a little from the outside, with a small stick, often, with that slight movement this simple problem is solved due to of contact in the weld. I read this suggestion in an international forum and it served me to make work a led.
